Well, well, well…you’ve all been clamoring for it! And here it is! The “long-awaited” (jk) finale to the three-part epic tour of San Francisco’s (and North Beach’s) Broadway with Dick Boyd, one-time saloonkeeper (bar owner) as he shares his memories of the late 50’s-early 60’s on The City’s bawdy Broadway.
Dick drops knowledge about Finnochio’s, Enrico’s, El Matador, Vanessi’s, the Off Broadway (yes, later Plaka Taverna- check out that post), and we end up at The Beat Museum (currently closed for retrofitting).
(Look, if you happened to watch parts one and /or two, you might as well finish the series. Are you gonna watch “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight” and not watch “The Drak Knight Rises”? Come on now…)
